• Hi Anmari,

Nothing critical I think, but I ran across some errors in my current installation today and thought you’d like to take a look. It looks like Google was crawling and threw some errors, apparently related to repeated events rules(?); I don’t have any repeated events in my calendar. In any event, it’s not stopping the calendar from functioning on my end, so no worries here.

thanks for flagging – I’ve grabbed your ics feed https://calendar.google.com/calendar/ical/[email protected]/public/basic.ics but so far have not been able to recreate the messages on test system despite navigating back & forward in time a bit. I’ll have to trawl the code back from that last bit and imagine what might have happened. It looks like at some stage it is expecting a date object but has a boolean instead.

Google can get a bit excited when it starts indexing events. If you find it is causing a load relative to other traffic, read https://icalevents.com/4046-google-indexing-bandwidth-and-calendar-parameters/ and https://icalevents.com/4073-google-indexation-pagination/.

Actually the wilmimgton ics file does have a bunch of repeated events in it (although some are old but which google might track back in time too ??
If you no longer need to keep the old events, consider using Neil Gerstenbergs very useful https://www.gcaltoolkit.com/ to mass delete old events.

Ah. You’re totally right. I had forgotten we had one event set up as a recurring event. I appreciate the recommendation for the utility. It’s not a worry to me to have old events on the calendar at this time. Does it impact performance at all with your plugin?
