Google Web Stories Title

    Hey Experts,

    My name is Atif Ahmad and I am from Pakistan. I need to know if a web story title is considered an H1. I’ve noticed that, unlike posts, web story titles are not considered H1s but it can be good practice to use an H1 on the first page of the story.

    I checked the URL of the web story with the “H1 Checker” tool and found that the title is not considered an H1.

    My question is should I use H1 or H2 on the first page of the web story? Or, does the title still use the H1 tag? I am confused.

    Any quick reply would be highly appreciated. Thanks

    I wouldn’t really worry about heading tags or whether something is an h1 or an h2. Even multiple h1 tags are fine. The Web Stories editor automatically chooses the right heading tags for your text elements depending on their size and position on the page.
