  • That was certainly discussed (and could be a worthy feature request in its own right, regardless of SEO/404 issues) but I think we’re going to go with a plan whereby we simply request certain pages not be indexed.

    Let us know when this plan is implemented. 8|

    Hi anoleimaging,

    Thanks for checking in. We are actively working on improving this situation. In a previous version, we made it so that if the calendar generates a page that results in a 404, like an empty day view (from PRO), we set a meta tag that tells Google not to index but still to follow it (so they can gaily skip across empty days, which they won’t use for search results, but then hit upon valid populated day views).

    One of our developers also released a free plugin called Event Rocket that will help reduce overall impact of what Google calls ‘hard 404s’.
