  • I am getting the same exact error! :((

My Yoast plugin is up to date, so I don’t understand!

Okay, someone outside of this forum helped me a little. You need to go look at your sitemap. Type in the internet url box the following:

    https://yourbusinessname.com/sitemap_index.xml

When that opens, you will see all the sitemaps that do NOT have a date by them.

For me, they were areas that my Theme had created that I was not using, so I went into the plugin and told it not to look at those. I am in the process of re-submitting my sitemaps to see if it fixed it.

    Hope that helps.

Yes!! This seems to have worked, and it was such a simple fix! Thanks jewelsbytrish. I really appreciate it.

Oh good, glad to hear it! You’re welcome.

Fixed the problem for me too!! thanks!!

Disable “sitemaps that do NOT have a date by them.” worked for me!
Yoast SEO->XML Sitemaps->taxonomy-> here disable the ones that don’t have a date in your XML sitemaps

We have redesigned our website and now we are facing some kind of problems:

    1. I have done 301 redirection for redirecting non-www to www but in webmaster website thumbnail is showing the old site getup as well as website is showing without “www”.

    2. Crawl error is appearing since 1 week.

    3. We have submitted new sitemap.xml file. When I submitted into the webmaster tool. Webmaster tool is showing a Parsing error in line 2 since 1 week-
We were unable to read your Sitemap. It may contain an entry we are unable to recognize. Please validate your Sitemap before resubmitting.

What should I do? Please help me out.
