I just don’t know why it happens.
I started working on my site and used the “Don’t index my site” option in the Admin Panel just till I finish setting up everything.

After finishing – I disabled this option.

Also installed Yoast SEO, and created a Sitemap – which I submitted to Google Webmaster. It was received by Google WMT with no problem.

Robots.txt also giving “Status 200” in WMT and everything is ok.
    This is my robots.txt file:

    User-agent: *
    Disallow: /wp-admin/
    Allow: /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php

Still – Google just won’t index my site. It’s been around a week since I gave it the permission to index and nothing…

Can someone please help me understand where’s the problem?

Have you signed up to Google Webmaster Tools to see what that says?

I had the same thing happen to me and it took about two weeks for Google to reindex my site. Very annoying. Now, I use an under construction plugin on sites that I am working on to avoid this from happening again.
