I am not able to have my website send emails from any of the aliases associated with the main email connected with the plugin. Even if I change the ‘from email’ to an alias and then activate ‘Force From Email’, test emails will still be sent from the main email connected. I can’t seem to have a solution.

I tried recreating the Client ID and Secret and reestablishing the OAuth Connection, but I still have the same issue.

I would really appreciate some help in resolving this.

    Hi @miniend,

Thanks for reaching out! Could you please share the error message you’re receiving when trying to send emails from your alias email?

In case it helps, we have a detailed guide on how to configure an alias email here.

Once we have more information, we should be able to assist you accordingly.

    Thanks!

I do not get any errors. The email is always sent from the main email. I changed the ‘From email’ in WP Mail SMTP to an alias, as well as from WooCommerce, but both are still sending from the main email rather than the alias.

    Hi @miniend,

    Thanks for getting in touch!

Could you please check if there are any other SMTP plugins installed on your site? If so, make sure to deactivate them to avoid any conflicts.

Additionally, please verify whether the “Force From Email” option is enabled under the WP Mail SMTP -> Settings page. If it is, try disabling that option, save the changes, and retest the issue.

Let us know how it goes. Thanks!

    Hi @darshanaw

    Thanks for your reply.

I do not have any other SMTP plugin installed.

As for “Force from Email”, having it enabled or disabled doesn’t make a difference. Even if I use the Alias as the ” from” email and enable ‘Force from Email’, it wont use it.

    Hi @darshanaw,

Yes I am using Namecheap hosting, and by default their Must-Use plugin is: EasyWP Plugin

    Hi @miniend,

Thank you for the additional information and your patience!

Our developers have noticed a conflict with the EasyWP plugin, which is installed as a must-use plugin on your site and overwrites the “from email” address.

Please get in touch with Namecheap support and ask them to disable this plugin on your WordPress installation. This should resolve your issue.

I hope this helps. Thank you!
