Thanks for opening a support topic. We’d be happy to investigate this for you and hopefully ensure you can get connected. In order to do so please share the following information:

    1. Your Site Health information. You can share privately if preferred using this form. Please include your current hosting provider where requested.
    2. Have you been able to setup Site Kit on this site or any other site on the same hosting platform previously?
    3. Do you see any browser console errors on the same screen whereby you see this notice?

My WordPress site is https:// and I’m located in Milan, Italy.

While you’re website is https you may also wish to ensure your website is fully redirected for this who may somehow land on the non secure (http) version of your site. From some of the checks I performed it is possible to access your non secure version. There may be a configuration option if you check your Site Health status (Tools > Site Health > Status). You’ll find more on that below:

    Thanks for your fast reply.
I just answered providing all the Site Health Informations through your form.
About secure/non secure, I’m sorry but I don’t see any configuration option through (Tools > Site Health > Status) and all the times, in the various sections, the URL is indicated as https://
I don’t see any browser console errors and I tried to set up Site Kit one time previously but without success.

Many thanks for sharing the additional insights. As nothing stands out from the details provided please follow the steps below and inform me if you’re able to proceed:

    1. Login to your site from a Chrome browser incognito window
    2. Install and activate the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin.
    3. Navigate to “Plugins > Health Check & Troubleshooting > Troubleshoot”.
    4. From the same screen click on the “Available Plugins” tab at the top right and then click on the “Enable” option next to “Site Kit by Google”
    5. Attempt to setup Site Kit once more

You can exit troubleshooting mode afterwards.

In relation to your non secure site being accessible you can check with your hosting provider to ensure all traffic is fully https, use a plugin or apply a direction to your .htaccess file.

Hi, I’ve done all the things you specified and effectively the error has gone away but when I try to connect AdSense I got this phrase:
    Error: invalid ‘client_id’ or ‘client_secret’
Isn’t Site Kit supposed to install both client IDs ??

Many thanks for the update. If you’re encountering this during AdSense setup only then this is different. I initially thought you encountered this during Site Kit setup, apologies.

From reviewing your Site Health information once more it looks like you have the following AdSense status:
    adsense_account_status: graylisted

As this can occur in various situation you’ll have to reach out to the AdSense team directly or check for any notices or emails in relation to your AdSense account or site approval.

Sorry we can’t be of more assistance on this. Great site by the way!
