Doesn’t seem to be quite straight forward…
Installed but when activating I got a blank screen and a frozen backend. Nothing was accessible any more. I renamed the plugin’s folder and then removed completely.

I wanted to install together with Admin in English plugin as I noticed a post of you there saying that could help for thanslation files by users but this failed.

I have to say I didn’t much understand about what this plugin is supposed to do and moreover HOW it does that, but, maybe, a pre-installation test would help.

UPDATE: just verified and my server runs on PHP version 5.2.17. Probably the source of the problem?

Yes PHP 5.2 might be the cause of your problem. And you are right, some pretest for requirements would be good. I’ll try to implement that in the next version. Also I’ll check why this results in a blank screen when activating.

I just tested on another server that runs PHP 5.3 and there was no problem. Seems to work fine, although I don’t much understand all features ??

I will now wait for Hostgator to upgrade PHP to version 5.3… because there I have the sites that would need this plugin. The one I run on the other server is only for dev and testing purposes.

Maybe, when you have some time, it would be nice to have more explicit details on what is doing what in there, how and what for. I know, that’s not easy to educate people like me but maybe worth giving it a try.

Thanks anyway, that’s definitely something to follow and appears to be a great toll!

In fact, I just discovered that at Hostgator we are able to upgrade to PHP 5.4 by our own through cPanel…

I did so and works fine. Thanks!

Good to hear that. None the less, based on your feedback version 1.2 now does include a php version check on plugin activation.

Yes, I think that’s a good point as many users, as myself, don’t even know on which PHP version their servers are running one.

BTW: I tried to explain how the plugin works here.

    Yes, that’s much better now!
Maybe add something about “Dynamic image resizing” too?

I’ll add a description with one of the next updates
