    When I tried to register a new user, I got 2 error messages saying “username has been taken”, “the email address has been taken”, but it actually registered the user successfully.

    Seems to be an issue with the latest plugin.

    Hi @jameskzhao,

    Do you have other membership or security plugins installed?
    Please make sure that you have the latest 2.1.10 version of the Ultimate member core installed.
    Try to do a quick conflict test so we can rule out any conflicts with your theme or one of your plugins and see if this issue goes away. Here is the doc on how to do a conflict test.
