• hello, brothers and sisters!
    i set up my wordpress,
    put it onto server, installation
begins, asks me for user name and email.
    after this everything stops,
    when i run config again,
    it tells me that wordpress
    is already installed.
i go to my php database manager,
and find a password in a table there.
but when i am trying to log in
as admin, using pass from db,
    it says pass is wrong!

    help me, please,
    what should i do?

    thank you

  • Use the Lost password feature from the admin login page, and it will email you a new password to the email address you provided during install.

our local hosting server don’t support email sending. ??
got any other way to do it?

    thank you!

Isn’t PHP mail() enabled? I find that very weird.

Anyway, the best you can do since you have access to your PHP database manager.

Follow these steps and you should be good:

    https://www.tamba2.org.uk/wordpress/phpmyadmin

If that doesn’t work post back and we can see what else we can do.

    that doesn’t help! :~-(
    what should i do?

    SOS!

Why does it not help? Have you not got access to phpmyadmin? Can you not sent the E-mail to your address? If so,

    * Either contact your host so as to receive an E-mail

    * Or reinstall WordPress having backed up your MySQL database *fully*.

of course, i have access to phpmyadmin,
i do everything as on screenshots above.
but the password is still incorrect! ??

    what should i do?

I suggest that as a last resort you either contact the host for help with E-mail or simply re-install WordPress and restore all the data.
