Got Sucuri premium. Now they’re hosting me??

I signed up ScreenComment.com for a premium sucuri plugin. At over 300 bucks, I thought wow, this plugin is expensive. It must be REALLY GOOD ?? Fast-forward a few months, I’m having an outage issue and get on the chat with Dreamhost. And they’re like, hm, we can’t help you anymore, your site is pointing to Sucuri.
I was livid. I would never ask to point to an entity I barely know anything about, besides the fact that I knew they were a plugin dev. I feel majorly taken for a ride. Two questions: has this happened to you? What would you do if you were me, stay with Sucuri or go back to Dreamhost?
