Something’s not working. It looks like the API call to GoToWebinar isn’t succeeding. This may be because you are on a trial account. Unfortunately API calls can’t be made to GoToWebinar accounts on a trial. If you do have a full GoToWebinar licence please try re-authenticating the plugin again by pressing the ‘Click here to get Auth and Key’ button in the plugin settings. You should also clear the cache or turn the cache off in the plugin settings and this should resolve the issue.

Just to add, I have already tried what has been recommended here and I have no change. This is the message I am getting on my website under my listing/page of Free Webinars.

    Carl,

I had this problem and it was host related, what/where are you using to host your site?

@northernbeacheswebsites, I have sent you an email.

The thing I found that was causing unexplained API failures when you had successfully gotten keys was related to the domains. If your were on a staging site (for example) so that the domain you were using currently with the plugin did not match the domain set in the “WordPress Address (URL)” field in the General Settings dashboard page. That could be the culprit.

Hi @tleen the issue appears to be account related. I tested the API calls using the clients credentials and it was returning an error status of 403. This always means there’s an account issue of some sort. I am not a full expert on all the various reasons why a 403 can show but they are generally account related. To counteract this problem in the latest version of the plugin it now displays whether the API connection is working or not in the plugin settings. This should make it more obvious for people with account issues to know that things aren’t working right and to contact Citrix to find out why the API calls are failing.

I am going to mark this thread as solved for now.

Thanks for your help as always ??

@northernbeacheswebsites I’ve deleted your offer to login to your user’s site. I’m am 100% sure you mean well but please never ask for credentials on these forums.

    https://www.ads-software.com/support/guidelines/#the-bad-stuff

Now for the why: The internet is a wonderful place full of very nice people and a few very bad ones. I’m sure everyone here is very nice however, by giving some ones keys to your house you are trusting they wont steal anything. Likewise the person who takes the keys is now responsible for the house FOREVER.

If something was to go wrong, then you the author may well legally become liable for damages, which they would not normally have been as their software is provided without warranty.

Please be aware that repeatedly asking for credentials will result in us asking you to repeatedly stop before escalating up to the plugins team.
