Gotta know PHP for WP

  • Setting up CPTs is a breeze with Pods! But integrating the coolness into the loop was where I got hung up. As a wp designer, I really had to dig into WordPress to understand how loops work, learn wp functions, and general PHP. It took a lot of time, but it was worth it.

    Thanks to the forum, I got a LOT further. The key is to ask specific single-focused questions.

    I also was able to use Pods with Genesis, too so that was great!

    Glad you loved Pods! We’ll continue working towards making better ‘Getting Started’ docs and tutorials to make it easier in the future to jump from Pods into how WordPress itself works with loops etc.

    Your welcome! Didn’t expect you to reply ?? I just saw today that you’ve got the new docs/site up! I’m excited to check it out!! I should’ve rated a few months ago when I was really digging into it. I’m sure the new stuff is better now…
