Gpay not showing in Product and Cart Page

    Gpay does not display in product and cart page. Only appears at the top of checkout page.

    Tried switching theme to storefront. Didn’t make a difference.
    Tried to deactivate all plug-ins. Didn’t make a difference.
    Tried to uninstall Paypal. Didn’t make a difference
    Tried to uninstall and reinstall this stripe plug-in. Didn’t make a difference.
    Customize express checkouts -> Show express checkouts on -> Product page and cart page has been selected.
    Woocommerce express checkouts is enabled.

    How to solve the problem?

    As a first step, could you provide us with screenshots of how the settings screen is configured currently? The related documentation can be found linked here, for your convenience.

    Moreover, it would be necessary to see how customize screen for the express checkouts (the one that appears after clicking on the link exemplified in the screenshot linked here).

    System Status Report which you can find via WooCommerce > Status > Get system report > Copy for support.
    Fatal error logs (if any) under WooCommerce > Status > Logs. Then you can use the selector to search for Fatal Errors.

    I have deactivated LiteSpeed Cache. Cleared my browser cache. It’s still the same. Gpay only works in Checkout page and not product and cart page.

    I was testing your site, and initially, I noticed it didn’t appear on the checkout page. But when I removed the product from the cart and repeated the checkout process, it started to show up. This suggests that the cache issue is still at play.

    To dig a little deeper into this issue, I’d appreciate it if you could carry out a conflict test. Here’s how you can do it:

    • Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront
    • Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce
    • Repeat the action that is causing the problem

    You can find a more detailed explanation of how to do a conflict test here.

    Additionally, don’t forget to clear all the caches – browser, site, server, and CDN. Or, you can exclude all WooCommerce related pages from your cache settings.

    I have uninstalled all plug-ins except for woo-commerce and stripe payment. Changed theme to Storefront. Cleared all cache in my browser. The same thing happened. Gpay is only in the checkout page. Note that it take a few seconds for Gpay to load in checkout page.

    It cannot be a cache problem as I have installed and uninstalled paypal plug-in and it is always displaying perfectly.

    I went ahead with investigating this further, and it appears the site is behind Cloudflare’s proxy — therefore, it is required to double-check the settings over there also.

    I have already turn off all cloudflare functions and proxy before starting this thread. Cloudflare only function as dns server.

    Moving forward, it’d be best to continue troubleshooting with a staging site, where the theme could be changed to a default one, like TT3, and only the WooCommerce and Stripe plugins remain active, without affecting visitors.

    We understand. The reason my colleague suggested a staging site was to see if you can replicate the issue on a new environment/clean setup as this can assist us with the investigation.

    To create a staging site, you can ask your host if they offer this service, or you can use WP Staging for quickly spinning up a new test site.

    You mentioned the PayPal plugin. For testing purposes, could you please try to activate Google Pay button via the PayPal plugin to check if it shows? You can do this on WooCommerce > Settings > Payments > PayPal.
