GPL Plugin License effects on included assets under CC 3.0

  • I have a project called Typeplate which is a single CSS file (also ported in 3 additional languages) licensed under CC 3.0. I would like to write a WordPress plugin that includes this CSS file with a theme, but I’m unsure if the plugin licensed under GNU overwrites the license of the CSS’ CC 3.0.

    Is there a way for me to have my cake and eat it too? Thanks in advance for the help.
