GPX file in wrong directory

  • When non-administrator users uploads a GPX file, until version 1.7.06 is was placed in /wp-content/uploads/gpx/<username>/<filename>.gpx and it could been seen by him, he can copy the shortcode and put it in his post.
    Since version 1.7.07 (and still in the latest 1.7.11) his file was placed in /wp-content/uploads/gpx/<filename>.gpx (so NOT in his special user directory), and was NOT shown in the list below. So he can upload files, but can’t see them to copy the shortcode.
    That’s the reason, why we still use 1.7.06 on our site.
    Is there a reason, why the location was changed? And is there a workaround to fix this? Or maybe this will be fixed in 1.8.0 ???
