    Hi
I’m new to this and have tried to show a map with GPX. I have downloaded the gpx file as instructions into my media files. I have copied the short code into my page but all I get is a blank square with the download link for the gpx file.
I have registered with the oshub as a premium user I have put started a new project got the Api key gone into settings and copied it into the box.

    [osmap gpx=”https://www.andiamoamigos.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/05/Pendlehill.gpx”%5D

If I start another project I get a different API key for that project how would that work as I cannot add multiple keys in settings.

    I hope you can help

    Chris

I get a 404 error from that page.

The projects in OS Datahub are purely for audit purposes, tracking usage across different sites or applications. You don’t need to use different projects in most cases, and all map tile usage is counted per account, not per project.

Try disabling premium maps in the settings temporarily to see if that’s the cause.

In Chrome/Firefox debug tools, try the console to see if you’re getting Javascript errors. Caching plugins sometimes cause problems by delaying the JS load too much.

    Hi,

Thanks, but most of that is beyond my scope at the moment. I tried disabling premium that didn’t work. I check the console as you said it came up with three errors all to do with optimisation but didn’t understand any of it.
As far as I can tell I’ve followed all the instructions to the letter and unfortunately I do not get a map.I do not yet understand the intricacies of java script and short code so may just have to do without for now.

If your online now the page should view

    thanks for your reply

My best guess is that it’s a problem with the autoptimize plugin. Try disabling that plugin temporarily and see if the maps then appear.

    Hi,

I have turned off the JavaScript Options and the map appeared which is wonderful not sure what turning the optimiser off will do to the site but I’m happy as it is.

    Thanks for your help

    Chris
