grab first image from gallery attachment

  • hi all,

    ok i have played about with wordpress for a few weeks and now i am starting to build a template from absolute scratch and so i want to understand how things work.

    I have finally succeeded in showing the first image from a post using the catch_that_image function

    however i now have a problem whereby i am using a gallery to hold a set of images, how do i go and grab the first image out of that as at the moment nothing is displayed.
