Gradient Disappears

    When I am creating the story I have added a gradient that overlays the background image – however when I go to preview the story or publish the gradient goes away.

    Also as a further note, the gradients were working before the latest update.

    Thanks for your report!

    This rings a bell… It’s an issue with the built-in AMP sanitization. I’ll open a ticket for us to fix this for our next release.

    In the meantime, you could install the AMP plugin as a workaround. Just make sure to update the AMP settings like this:

    This way AMP will only work to Web Stories, and the AMP sanitization built into Web Stories is handled by AMP instead.

    Quick follow-up, we just released version 1.1.1 of the plugin which fixes this issue. I am therefore marking this as resolved.
