    Hello,

    I have some issues with grading some of the quizzes. In some of the cases:

    1. Grade on the top of the answers shows 0 / 0 (0%), however grade below the answers shows: 12 / 16 (0%)
    2. After clicking “Save” i can see “Quiz Graded Successfully!“, however it still shows as ungraded on the submitted quizzes list
    3. I tried to click “Auto grade” – nothing is happening
    4. I tried to click “Reset” – nothing is happening

    It’s not happening to every quiz, just it’s happening randomly. Each quiz has the same configuration:

    Could you please tell me what is causing the problem and how I can fix it? My learners are unable to complete the quizzes before the deadline. I’m happy to provide more details if needed.

    Thank you for your answer.

    It’s not really my issue as not every answer is marked as incorrect. Instead, some of the answers are not marked as correct or incorrect and I can’t do this manually.

    When I try to ‘Auto grade‘ or ‘Reset‘ nothing happens, when I click ‘Save‘ it says ‘Quiz graded successfully, but nothing happens.

    Thanks for the update, and also sharing that the issue you are facing is not exactly similar to the one reported earlier.

    Do you see any similarities between the type of questions for which this issue happens? For example, are all the questions affected by this issue of type Gap-Fill. Please share any other information about the quizzes that seem relevant.

    I can then try to replicate the issue happening on your website on one of my test websites and report it.

    Hi Gaurav,

    Unfortunately I can’t see any rule around this, because it’s not happening only to the quizzes with gap fills.

    As you can see below, there is another example with an open question which can’t be graded. The problem is that it’s not happening always to the same quizzes and we are able to grade some students with this quiz and some of them we cannot.

    Thanks for the extra information. Because this problem is happening inconsistently and with no obvious pattern, the next step I’d like to suggest is testing for plugin conflicts:

    Please let us know if you are able to find any changes in behavior based on different plugins being deactivated, and we’ll go from there.

    Hi Emily,

    I’m sorry for the delay in responding. I’ve tried this troubleshooter, but it hasn’t solved the problem.

    I have noticed that it is happening mainly in the quizzes where I use ‘gaps’. However, I have turned off the auto grading for those particular courses and the manual grading of the courses works fine. It’s very strange and I’m not sure what’s causing it. As my problem is solved at the moment, I’m not asking for any further help on this matter, but please let me know if you would like more details about the problem in case you want to investigate it further on your end.

    We’re glad to hear you figure out a workaround to keep using quizzes and grading.

    We did receive another similar report about the auto-grading option, and we have escalated them to our developers to investigate.

    Hello. Sorry to reopen the topic, but i’ve got a similar problem.
    And i really need the autograde, i can’t grade all the quizz manually.

    The auto-grade doesn’t work. I tried to update all the plugins and theme, without any change. I also tried to desactive all plugins, without success.

    Wich information can I give you to help please ?
