"Grant access rights!" button not working

  • Hello,

    I’ve installed the plugin and followed all the steps from the demo.
    But when I click on the “Grant access rights!” button, I get the following error:

    Facebook returned an unexpected dataset. Try to resolve this issue, update the plugin or inform the author about the problem.
    [Error occured at line 601]

    Your application’s access permissions could not be granted.

    Some or all access permissions are missing. Please click the button Grant access rights! and authorize the plugin to post to your Facebook profile or page.
    [Error occured at line 778]

    Your page or profile’s access permissions could not be verified.

    What’s going on in here and how can I fix this???

  • yeah cant get it to work either, Ive been using the facebook update feature in jetpack but it’s not nearly as good

    Patched version work also for me, without recreating any facebook app…

    the Patched works for the first post, but when you try to post another one it comes up with an error:

    While publishing “March 23, 2013” to Facebook, an error occured:
    Facebook returned an unexpected error: (#1500) The url you supplied is invalid
    Try to resolve this issue, update the plugin or inform the author about the problem.
    [Error occured at line 350]

    But when you clear the cache the patch works again for only one post, then the error message above returns.

    Please help.
