    Hello,

I’ve activated 2FA for admin users.

Now I want to give a technician temporary admin access so that he can fix a CSS issue on one page, but I have no clue how to do that best.

Is there a way to de-activate 2FA for this access? If not, how would you do this?

    Thanks,
    Eddie

  • Hey @dantes100,

Have you only enabled it for admins, or have you forced it? If you haven’t forced it they don’t have to enable it. Either way, they can either set up Two-Factor if you’ve forced it, or opt not to if you’ve only enabled it for admins.

    Thanks,

    Thank you.

So all I have to do is uncheck this setting and 2FA is optional for admins?

    Hey @dantes100,

That’s correct. If you uncheck the box Two-Factor will not be required for all of your admin users. However, I’d recommend at least keeping Enable 2FA for these roles set to at least admin enabled as Two-Factor is one of the best features you can use to help secure your site.

    Thanks,
