Graphene – Changing Header height

Ok so, I can see that I can change the height and width in style.css. Now how do I go about changing the value of the crop header. IE when you try to upload a new image for the header, the message says “Images of exactly 960 × 198 pixels will be used as-is”. Is there a way to change is so that if I use an image of 1004 x 80, the crop shows all of my image.

Yes, you have to change both the CSS and the function. But you really should do this in a child theme, or your customisations will be lost the next time the theme updates (which is often).
