    Hello,

Today I went into my admin page – business as usual – saw two updates (can’t remember which two) and when they finished I started getting random pop-ups from graphics.

    https://t.co/lC5IhhsK

It’s on every single page, click somewhere, they pop up. Go to a new page, they follow me.

Also, when I try to create a new post, the subject title is automatically changed to “I like turtles.” or “I hate it when there’s a tiger in my bathroom.” or “Co za asy…” no matter what I try to type one of those three messages are there instead.

It’s very frustrating to say the least. Fortunately it doesn’t appear to have effected the actual website – but I can’t post new content because of this. Any suggestions will be super helpful!

…new update, the “Publish” button moves when I put my cursor over it so I can’t easily publish a new post. This Hack is sooo annoying!

Also, I just tried restoring yesterday’s backup but the problem still exists. Luckily I have 2 plugins to update now. “All in One SEO Pack” by Michael Torbet and “Soundcloud is Gold” by Thomas Michalak at Mighty Mess. I assume that when I updated one of them, the ‘hack’ or ‘virus’ spread… not sure why restoring to the most recent back up didn’t get rid of the problem.

    FIXED:

Go to the editor of “Mystique” and remove following code from function.php (theme folder) – it’s towards the bottom:

[ 82 line code replaced with https://pastebin.com/TKQdVYKf Normally more than 10 lines of code is just moderated but that’s a funny one. ]

…it was meant as an “April Fool’s prank” that inevitably affected all “Mystique Theme” users. At least there is a fix!

    STUPID !!!

Ha, this is really unbelievable. I’m suffering from the same issue, I thought WordPress would be more hack proof.

JMatt578, thanks for trying to solve this, but I find your explanation rather unclear. In my line 82 I have dimensions_fixed_c2right’ => ‘640’,, it doesn’t seem to be what you are pointing at.

    Thanks
    Bernardo
