    Hello,

Does W3 Total Cache have a gravatar image cache? I can’t find any options.
I see some WP plugins on this. I think this will be a nice feature to be added.

    Thank you.

    Hello @max2k

Thank you for your inquiry and I am happy to answer. W3 Total Cache does not support that at the moment.
However, I’ve spoken to the team and created a GitHub issue in our repository on your behalf. Please note that gravatar images appear to come from a CDN, so caching them locally may not offer better performance.
We will investigate and see if there are any performance-enhancing solutions here.
    Thank you!

When I first started to optimize my website, I was imagining the gravatar cache feature which is offered now by Max.

I agree with Marko. Also, Gravatar’s servers are already blazing fast. Caching gravatar images might affect server resources negatively, especially on websites which have thousands of comments.

I think the “lazy load images” will be the best option in this case.
