Gravatar image not displaying on 'Like's

I’ve been having the same issue for the past few days as well.

and I also cannot view my notifications in the top menu bar. The notifications window just keeps trying to load, but never loads the notifications, here is a screengrab:

If you still experience issues, could you check for Javascript errors on the page by following the instructions here:

Could you also check if the problem persists when you log out of your WordPress account? Since I can’t reproduce on my end, the problem might only happen when logged in to your account.

I can see my gravatar on Firefox (https://www.paulinebattell.co.uk/blog/) which is my default browser and it comes up whether I am logged into my https://www.archangelsanddevas.wordpress.com blog or not. But if you go to the same URL – https://www.paulinebattell.co.uk/blog/ and check it on Google Chrome, my image is not there, just a little block.

I had the problem on Firefox also the other day, but now it seems to be working again. I know it sounds impossible to be doing one thing and then another the following day, but this is what has been happening. It’s working for the blog owner (Pauline Battell) again, and she uses Explorer. I can’t imagine what got it working again for her because she thought you had resolved the issue from your side.

Thank you Jeremy. I just went to wordpress.com to log myself out like you said and I noticed that it had automatically logged me out itself. So I logged back in to check and right away noticed that the notifications were actually working. And I then tried to like a post and that worked as well. Not sure what happened there but whatever it was seems to have fixed itself or perhaps you did something? Thank you for looking into this matter, appreciate it.

@mobimark Gravatars appear in Firefox and in Chrome on my end, whether I’m logged in or logged out of my WordPress.com account.

Could you try clearing out your cache and cookies and let me know if it helps?

Its showing on Firefox but not on Chrome.

I’ve restored to a previous version of Jetpack yesterday and the issue is still happening, so I do apologize Jeremy! It cannot be Jetpack. Since I have no idea what is causing this, my client is now very unhappy with me and with WordPress and is considering changing her blog over to blogger!
If you have any suggestions for her or me, they would be welcome now!

Since I cannot reproduce on my end, I would suggest clearing out your cache and cookies. You mentioned that you cleared the browser history, but I’m afraid that won’t help here.

Could you ask your client to clear their browser cache and cookies, or to try to access their site in a different browser?

She said she has tried with Firefox but had the same result. And she also says she clears her cache and cookies daily.
I can see her gravatar on posts of mine that she has liked, but she can’t see them. It’s really strange, and I have no idea what is causing this other than her browser. She is not prepared to change browsers. And I do not think the problem is with WordPress or many people would have complained about this problem.

Could you ask her to log in to her Gravatar account, and make sure she sees her own Gravatar there?

If she uploads a new image there, it might solve her problems.

She says she has tried this and it didn’t work. She tried another browser, Firefox, and it did work! But she doesn’t like Firefox, she thinks its inferior to Explorer, so she refuses to use it. She continues to think the issue is related to WordPress, which I’m sure is not the case.
