Although I am signed into Gravatar, I am unable to post on WordPress blogs because I get the message that I am not signed into Gravatar. I have been to the Gravatar “support” site, but there is no support there. Can anyone help, or is there a way to actually contact Gravatar?

Gravatar provides a uniform avatar for your email address across all WordPress and other Gravatar-compatible sites and app, it’s not a barrier to commenting or posting.

Where, specifically, are you trying to comment or post?

I am logged into both WordPress and Gravatar, yet it keeps coming up that I am an unknown user when I try to post comments in blogs such as Retirementrv.com or Rachelmankowitz.com . Other blogs will allow me to post comments without giving me this message.

Those are self-hosted www.ads-software.com sites, not WordPress.com sites, so if they require you to login to comment, you’ll first need to register for an account on each site.

To clear up any confusion, WordPress.com and www.ads-software.com are two different entities:?https://www.ads-software.com/support/article/wordpress-vs-wordpress-com/

WordPress.com sites share an account system, 1 login to comment on any of them, but www.ads-software.com sites are all entirely self-contained.

Oh, thank you! I didn’t realize the difference.
