Gravatar not working

  • Hello there,

    First: you cannot acces the sitelink i gave above. It is a closed forum.

    Now my problem:

    In the admin bar and in the forum the wrong avatar is shown. Not the gravatar (as set in preferences) but a pic from wp-content/uploads/ultimatemember/1/profile_photo.jpeg?1558954685

    Gravatar is working only in the widget form jetpack in a footer or header or whatever.

    In the past i tried to use wp-gravatar.

    Anyone a solution?

    Hi @rozo85,

    What version on the Ultimate member core you have installed on your site?
    Have you enabled “User gravatars” in Ultimate member -> Settings -> Users section?

    My gravator doesn’t allow me to like pages on my own wordpress site as well as other wordpress users site. I can only like pages from the wordpres reader feed.

    First of all thanks for your answer. Second, the test site is off line again because of the space it took on the server.

    The answers to your questions:
    1 I use ultimate member version 2.0.49 and wordpress: 5.2.1–nl_NL
    2 I Have enabled “User gravatars” in Ultimate member -> Settings -> Users section.

    I deleted the location: content/uploads/ultimatemember/1/profile_photo.jpeg?1558954685
    Now i see the standard avatar in the admin bar and on the rest of the site while the jetpack widget shows the right one.

    Extra info: on a test copy i deacticated Ultmate member and gravatar was working fine. I activated ultimate member and the problem was there again.

    OK, after a long holiday i want to pick up this problem again. On another site i run, with ultimate member, everything is working fine? How can i fix this problem. I think somewhere in the core a “hook” or how you call it, is missing. The call from UM is made but gives no result.
