• Does anyone know how to get a image to appear in the activity stream of buddypress using a gravity form for the new blog post submission? Current buddypress records all data except the image, and I have to go into the post and “update” from the backend of wordpress ??

  • Gravity Forms is a premium plugin which has its own support forums where you are more likely to receive a faster and more accurate answer https://www.gravityhelp.com/forums/

Thanks Mercime, no one seems to be able to help me out no on the bp_activity_add function works.. Anyways I just built the core functionality I wanted in Drupal last night in 6hrs. No need to worry about stupid buddypress and its poor documentation

also dude that is outside of the gravity forms support FFS. I paid some money at wpquestions.com and they cant even help

thinkluke, glad you resolved on your own in your own way ?? I referred you to Gravity Forms support forums because I assumed you already paid for the plugin and want to get your money’s worth. There’s a free plugin which adds images, video and share web links to BP Activity Stream https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/buddypress-activity-plus/screenshots

Thanks mercime, yeah I had a look at the activity plus thing, its okay but no taxonimy options and clunky. Thats all good, I used drupal for the first time last night and it blew my mind, perfect cms for what I am doing.. for this project its leaving wordpress in the dark.
    Thanks again
