We have a newsletter subscription Gravity form on the footer of every page. It used to work, but I noticed that the Mailchimp field doesn’t actually add the checkbox anymore, just the label. The problem is that when you click subscribe, since the checkbox is missing, you always get an error that the field is required and you need to fill it in.

I’m afraid of making it non-required, since it may not actually subscribe people if that info is not passed to Mailchimp.

To clarify, the checkbox is also missing on the form preview, and there is nothing on the logs.

    Thanks.

    Hey @coopersita,

Thanks for reaching out to us.

Can you please share the screenshot of the MC4WP integration settings with Gravity Forms?

Here is what I see when I go to Integrations > Gravity Forms. There are no settings, just this:

Here’s the settings for the form:

The Mailchimp integration with the plugin seems ok. It shows as connected, and the list I use in the form settings is listed there.

    Thanks

    Hey @coopersita,

I tested our integration with latest version of Gravity forms and cannot replicate the issue you are having.

Are you using any “Gravity Form” add-on plugins to customize the features? Is it possible to disable all plugins except “MC4WP” & “Gravity Forms” and test again?

Thank you for looking into it. I found the culprit, Uncanny Automation. I disabled the plugin, and now the checkbox is back.
