• Hi. I have been using Coraline for my firm’s intranet and it has worked out very well. Now they want me to create forms for the intranet and Gravity Forms seems to be the way to go. However, the forms don’t display properly using Coraline and Internet Explorer.
They do display properly when using FireFox.

I sent the form code to the Gravity Forms support and they said they look fine on their end. They suggested that I de-activate all plugins except Gravity Forms and see that made a difference – it did not. So they suggested trying one of the default WP themes such as Twenty Ten to Fifteen. I haven’t done that yet because I don’t want to have to rebuild my site.

I’m hoping someone on here can suggest something to try. I tried both the default template and the full-width no sidebar template. The form is supposed to show two fields on the same line like this:

First name _________________ Last name _______________

Like I said, works in Firefox but not in Internet Explorer 11.

    Thanks for any help.

What version of IE has the problem?

Can you set up a local or test install running Twenty Fifteen to test whether this is actually a theme issue?

Could you upload a screenshot to help in troubleshooting?

Here’s a guide on how to make a screenshot:
    https://en.support.wordpress.com/make-a-screenshot/

You can upload the screenshot – in a graphic format like JPG, PNG, or PDF – in your Media Library, and provide a link so I can see it, or upload it with a service like Imgur or Snaggy.

The version of IE is 11.
I tested using Twenty Fifteen and it didn’t make a difference.
I tested with Coraline and with Coraline-Child and all look the same.

I’ve put screenshots on Imgur. They are in an Album called Coraline-Gravity-Forms – here is the link: https://imgur.com/a/bTW9P

The first one is Coraline on FIREFOX – the good one.
The second one is Coraline-Child on IE.
The third one is Coraline on IE 11.
The fourth one is Twenty-Fifteen on IE 11.

    Thanks.

I tested using Twenty Fifteen and it didn’t make a difference.

If you’re experiencing the problem in Twenty Fifteen, then the issue isn’t theme-specific.

I’d suggest showing these screenshots to the Gravity Forms folks, and mentioning the specific IE version that has the issue so they can help you with the CSS you’ll need to fix the display.

Troubleshooting plugin-specific issues is beyond the scope of the support we offer here, especially since I can’t see your site directly and since the plugin is a paid one that I don’t have access to. Good luck!
