I’ve been unable to find information on whether or not this plugin works with Gravity Forms, and if so, whether it’s the free or paid version that does. Any info would be appreciated. (I could find no contact email on the website so am posting this here.)

  • Updates are coming soon that will better direct people to available support and upgrade options.

If you need to contact us directly/privately, you may use this form:

    https://stopspammers.io/contact/

We likely will be adding additional protection for Gravity Forms in Stop Spammers Premium in the future.

Anyway, the easiest way to test if a specific form on your website is protected by Stop Spammers, is to add a specific word or email to your block list and then from a different device or from Tor or VPN (so that your IP is different, because your usual IP is already whitelisted), try submitting the form with that email or word added and if it blocks you, it’s protected, and if the form submits successfully, it’s not.

Is it safe to say that it’s not intended to work with Gravity Forms just yet?

    No, I wouldn’t say that.

In fact, it’s quite the opposite. Generally, Stop Spammers automatically protects all the forms found on your website, indiscriminately.

That said, there are so many plugins out there that there’s always a chance that they could be doing something in some way that conflicts with Stop Spammers.

Gravity Forms is very popular, so it’s likely we’ll be adding *extra* protection for it, but it may very well be protected right now, by default.

You just need to run a quick test on your form, as I instructed above. Or, if you want to add the following email address to your block list ([email protected]), and provide the link to your form, I can run the test on your behalf.

A test with a few of the keywords from the list in the settings went through without being blocked. I used the form you provided the link for to send an example page/form, in case that helps. I currently have the plugin installed and believe it’s active.

Thanks; we’ll finish up over email.
