I have two buttons for applications at the top of the page that open up popups (e.g. ‘Join an Expedition’ and ‘Become an Expedition Leader’). However, the Gravity Forms forms in those popups don’t display when you open the popup. I have disabled plugins to see if there was a conflict, but that didn’t resolve the issue.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

I still have never heard a reply about this issue. It seems unfortunate because this plugin is so great other than this bug. I like using the popups for Gravity Forms to keep some pages simpler, if needed.

    Hi @myntillae,

Thank you for letting us know about your issue. I apologize for the delay in responding; we are experiencing a significant increase in support requests. And I would like to help you resolve this as soon as possible.

You can use Gravity Forms inside Popups, either by inserting the Shortcode into the Popup or by using a plugin. Please refer to our “Gravity Forms” knowledge base article for more information.

    Hi Rohit,

Because of the delay in response, I ended up having to create new pages with the Gravity Forms embedded so we could promote the page for a campaign. But it is a problem I have come across a lot. I’ll have Gravity Forms embedded in the Divi Popup, but when you click to view the popup, only the GF shortcode is visible and not the actual form. Seems to be a bug in the plugin. I can set it up again on another page if you want to view and debug the issue.

    Hi @myntillae,

I am sorry and regret any difficulty the delayed response may have caused. And I appreciate that you have brought this to our attention.

I have taken note of the reported issue and have forwarded it to our development team for further review and investigation. I appreciate your patience as we work on resolving this issue.

Yes, I would appreciate it if you set up the form on another page, so our team can review and debug the issue. Please let us know if you need any assistance in doing so. We look forward to finding a solution as soon as we can. Our support team will be more than happy to assist you further. Thank you.

I set up a duplicate page with what we have, but with the Divi Popups:
    https://careforlife.org/expeditions-test/

The two application buttons at the top are supposed to pull up the two different Gravity Forms forms in the popups. They’re in there in editing mode, but in normal view mode they’re just showing up blank. Seems to be a bug I’ve seen on different sites, so I’m pretty sure this isn’t site specific since deactivating plugins didn’t make a difference before from what I remember.

    Hi @myntillae,

Thank you for sharing the site URL with me. After checking, it seems that there is an issue with “Popups for Divi” and the latest update of “Gravity Form.” Our team is currently investigating the problem, but we cannot guarantee that we can resolve the issue:
Due to recent changes in Gravity Forms, it appears to rely heavily on JavaScript to initialize and as a result, is not compatible with our free plugin anymore.

However, we have a solution that can help you with this. Our premium plugin “Divi Areas Pro” can add smart Popup initialization logic that is compatible with almost every dynamic content and is fully compatible with “Gravity Forms.” You can check out our “Feature Comparison” of “Divi Popup” to get a better understanding of our plugin’s compatibility with different forms. Here’s the link: https://divimode.com/divi-popup/#comparison

I hope this information helps. Please feel free to reach out to me if you have any further questions. We appreciate your business and value your time.

Thanks for the feedback. I figured it was incompatibility with Gravity Forms.

I’ll keep that other plugin in mind for the future. Right now the workaround solution for the site I shared is fine for now. But I often like to use that on other sites, so I’ll remember there’s that option. I didn’t even realize you guys have a premium plugin.

    Hi @myntillae,

Sure, you’re welcome. You can follow our website https://divimode.com for further information on our plugin.

Please do not hesitate to ask any further questions. I am here to help you. Thank you.
