I am using a Gravity Form in my popup (opening with a click trigger) to create a new custom post type Post.

The form works perfectly when it’s submitted from a page, but the Post is not created when it’s submitted from the popup. (The Gravity Forms entry is created, but not the Post.)

I changed the post type to “Posts”, with the same result.
I have tried with AJAX enabled and disabled.
I checked and unchecked the “Disable Formatting” on the Confirmation.
And changed a number of other settings on the form and popup – looking for hints in various forum posts. All to no avail.

    What am I missing?

The page is on a staging site, and I can provide access privately if needed.

    Thanks!

Sorry you’re having troubles, I’ll have @danieliser take a look as soon as possible.

    Thanks your patience.

@diananichols – Curious if you have reached out to Gravity Forms support, sounds like something is not triggering properly after submission which would mean it shouldn’t be related to our plugin directly but more of indirectly.

That said we have thousands of sites using PM & GF together, I can’t imagine that none of them are using it to create posts, which would mean that it is something specific to your site.

Now to specifics, if the form submits and returns a confirmation message, then it is working as expected in terms of what happens on the front end of your site, the issue is in the processing that is done behind the scenes.

I am not sure how we can help in this instance.

I have been in contact with Gravity, and they are not able to solve the issue either. I think we have narrowed it down to some unknown conflict with a custom plugin.

I am using another direction to get this done – but will be using your awesome plugin for other applications in the future.

I truly appreciate your prompt response, and willingness to help!

    Excellent review coming your way!
    Thanks!
