    Hi there,
I’ve just given this a go & am impressed. The only question I have at this stage is how does it handle forms, like the above that redirect to a thank you page on a successful submit.
This didn’t seem to work in the (brief) testing I did, if I could get forms to work as expected I’d be 100% sold.
I’m probably missing something – any advice?
    Thank you,
    Jason

I’d just add, I’m using Google reCAPTCHA on these forms too…

    Forms will not work!
Consider using Google Forms or one of the alternatives to them https://www.makeuseof.com/tag/finest-14-google-forms-alternatives-try/

Gravity Forms has an API.. If you’re able to, modify the forms code and use JavaScript to interact with the API directly, rather than processing the form via PHP. You can then replicate the functionality on your current form, and have the entires pushed into your WordPress dashboard (and of course, handle the redirects as configured within Gravity Forms)

This would require a reasonable amount of JavaScript knowledge.

    Hi Jason,

The short answer for “how does Simply Static handle forms?” is “not at all” unfortunately, unless you’re using a 3rd party host for forms like Wufoo or something along those lines. I’d like to add something to Simply Static to help with this eventually, but that’s still a ways in the future.

    Best,
    Scott
