    Hi,

    I encouter a strange issue:

I have set up a Popup through PopupMaker (free).
The trigger is a click on an element with a specific CSS class.

The content of the popup displays a mix of texts and a form (gravity form, injected through shortcode).
The theme of the website is Divi and the content of the popup use Divi too.

It is applyed to the homepage of the website for quite some times now and works as expected.

Now, since yesterday, we want to make some additions to the popup configuration :

    • add the popup on the posts as weel as the home page
    • on the post template (Divi), we had a bloc with the correct CSS class so the click also trigger the display of the popup

The popup is, in fact displayed, but the gravity form shortcode is not rendered and displayed as a simple text.
In the mean time, on the home page, the popup is still functionnal as usual.

I tried to flush the cache or duplicate the popup to use a different one for the posts, but nothing seems to work.

So I’m a little confuse as why the popup is displayed on each case, but the gravity form shrotcode is not rendered for the articles.

Since this week has seen the update of several parts involed here:

    • WordPress – 6.6
    • Gravity forms – 2.8.14
    • Divi – 4.27.0

I’m not sure the issue is related to PopupMaker but, just in case, I though it worth to ask every party involved.

Can you think of anything that could explain why the shortcode would not be rendered on the posts?

The button on the post template have been disabled for now since the form is not rendered correctly for now.

    Thanks.

P.S. In parallel, I’ve submitted a support ticket on Gravity Forms and Divi sides too.

    Hi @improvedline ,

Sorry to hear you’re having issues with your popup.

Are you editing the popup using Divi?

You might need a special module to properly render the form using the Divi Builder.

If that’s not available, please try to edit the popup using the classic editor or the block editor.

You can also send us a message via Support Request – Popup Maker if you want us to take a closer look.

Let us know how it goes!

    Hello @improvedline ,

Thanks for submitting a thorough description of the problem and sharing your website link.

I can reproduce the problem on your blog posts. I see only the Gravity Forms shortcode text when I manually launch your popup 7936. But, I can see the form display perfectly on your homepage as you sad.

Can you make sure Gravity Forms is allowed to load on your blog posts?

For example, I see gravityforms.min.js loading on your home page, but I don’t see it loading on https://jacuzzi.fr/blog/actualites/prenez-de-lavance-sur-vos-vacances-offres-exclusives-sur-les-spas-et-spas-de-nage-jacuzzi/.

When a shortcode doesn’t work and you only see the text, that can mean the plugin for that shortcode isn’t loaded or the theme or another plugin is blocking it.

    Hi,
    Sorry for the late response.

Indeed the client used “Plugin Manger” in “Assets Clean Up” to disable gravity forms on all blogs posts, so obviously it couldn’t worked…

    Thanks again for the support!
