• With the Hipaa plugin activated, we are having issues with some conditional logic on radio button items when hidden. I have confirmed with gravity forms that the issues only happens when your plugin is activated.

A little more detail. If you get to the second page for insurance questions and select “no” for insurance, the radio buttons that are hidden are still being required.

@codemonkeys I’m experiencing the same issue (using Gravity Forms Conditional Logic). I have fields that are shown and are required only if a specific radio field is selected first. This plugin prohibits the form from being submitted when a form is setup this way. I’ve submitted a support ticket through the plugin interface.

The latest update says it had a fix to deal with this but after updating to V1.9.8, still having the same issue.

And something new I noticed, when using a Gravity Forms Advanced field (Address), the Street Address does not have to be filled in even though it is required. Only works incorrectly when HIPAA plugin activated.

We’re looking into this now and will update you once we have it resolved.

We did put a fix into the last release V1.9.8 for this which wasn’t validating conditional required checkboxes/radios properly however this fix probably didn’t get applied to the multi-page form validation when going from one page to another.

We’re also looking into the advanced address field validation handling, my guess is Gravity structures the required option around that field group a little differently than a standard field so isn’t playing well with our validation.

We’ll try and get a fix out for both of these within the next day or two.

We just released V1.9.9 which should fix the both the conditional hidden required fields validation in multi-page/multi-step Gravity forms as well as the advanced address multi-field validation.

Excellent. Those items are working correctly now. I do have one last item. When using a “Name” advanced field, Gravity forms doesn’t require the middle name. With the HIPAA plugin activated, the middle name is required. If that can be resolved, then I will have a happy client!
