Basic functionality is enough to define a GDPR bottom bar and a Newsletter PopUp; additional messages may be beneficial for other purposes.

Personally, I’ve integrated Mailchimp by defining on MC’s site a new form with just two fields. Then, I’ve defined the WP MC form with the same fields. Finally, I’ve pasted the shortcode in the IG campaign and added the policy.
