Great and easy to use plugin

  • The plugin does a great job and as far as I know it is the only one that supports videos from your wordpress upload folder.

    One simple improvement I would wish for the next version and that is the option to rename the tab. So that you could use “trailer” or “impressions” instead of “video”. Would be great to be able to do that without changing the plugins code.

    But since there is no woocommerce plugin that supports videos (from the upload folder) in the product gallery this is the best choice for sure!

    Hi,

    This plugin supports videos by using shortcodes of other plugins. This way you can insert any kind of content into all of your tabs, and every tab title is renamable.

    Presumably you’re originally referring to another plugin, that supports videos by selecting them from media library.
    It is a good idea to support inserting media from directly from media library, we take it into our feature request list.

    For this plugin I still have two problems which I also will write into the support section:
    1. I’m using the mp3 jplayer plugin and when using the shortcode for a playlist within the custom tab the player doesn’t load at all. But when using in description tab + the custom tab it works. Why is that? Is it something with the script order or the folder path?

    2. How could I make the Custom Tab Multilingual? Where to add the __() function and the po-files in the script to make it multilingual?

    1. We will see the mp3 jplayer plugin shortcode question soon.
    2. The names and titles of custom tabs are data that you enter, it is not part of the program code, similarly to a simple post title and content. So it is cannot be localized using po-files.
    There are some solutions for making your site multilingual, for example WPMU plugin together with Multilingual Press Free plugin. Using these plugins your WooCommerce Custom Tabs (title and content) can be multilingual, we have tested them earlier. We hope this or something similar solution is good for you.
