• I really enjoy the features of the plug in but ever since the update of Yoast SEO it isn’t compatible anymore and I had to deactivate it.

Hi, thanks for the feedback. I really would like to get this Bug/Plugin Incompatibility, that you identified, fixed as soon as possible.

This morning on my plugin testing environment, I have installed the latest version of ‘Yoast SEO’ (version 3.1.1) and have updated WordPress to its latest version (4.2.2). I have tested Slide Anything on this environment (existing sliders and creating new sliders) and everything looks fine.

So there is no clash or issue with the Yoast SEO plugin. Saying that, I would like get to bottom of whatever issue you have encountered. Was the issue on the front-end or the within the WP Dashboard? Did you see any error messages? When pressing ‘CTRL+SHIFT+J’ simultaneously (to open up the browser error console), are there any messages there?

Any help here would be greatly appreciated, otherwise I’m going to struggle to get to the bottom of this unique bug/issue. And if I can figure out this issue you are having I’ll release a new version of Slide Anything with this fix included ASAP.

A couple of things you could try, it it is a front-end only issue…
When editing your Slide Anything slider:
    – Change the “CSS #id for Slider” setting (within ‘Slider Style’). Maybe this ID is clashing with another ID within your website
    – Uncheck the “Allow Shortcodes” checkbox as this sometimes causes issues with certain site page-builders.

    Thanks,
    Simon

Running both this plugin and Yoast at the same time just fine ??
