Great concept beautifully implemented

  • I had the chance of thoroughly testing it and it works perfectly. Minimalistic and lightweight though very powerful. A clever piece of code. A fantastic plugin that I hope will carry on evolving. Kudos to shark986. Thank you!

    PS: I’ve tried most of the cookie law plugins, even the premium (paid) ones and this one is the cleverest of all. With so little code it does so much!

    Hi,

    The first improvement that comes into my mind is a relatively easy one, being able to set an offset for the scroll before triggering the implicit consent. In my opinion it is too aggressive to trigger the implicit consent when scrolling just 1px, specially on touch screens, as it is very easy to accidentally scroll a few pixels without the intention of carrying on using the website.

    I think that the web could be a better place.. We all should develop with the idea that our visitor had to be helped, not misleaded!

    @diegocanal I just released an update that contains your “offset suggestion” ??

    Your latest update has completed the best online plugin for me to manage Italian privacy. There are controls for various options and most of all, they do not reset the page when you enable cookies. Once active, leave only the technical coolies that show the site as it should be and you do not have to write a line of code. Great and fast but above all it is the only one who does what he says !!
