• This is a great little plugin that serves an important need.

It’s still not without a few rough edges – such as using the plugin to customize the purchase/donate button (e.g. change text size) has no effect on the appearance. I have no other paypal/button plugins that might be causing a conflict. And the checkboxes next to the accounts seem to perform no function. But the plugin links with PayPal great and seems to do its job well.

When I first started using the plugin there were more significant issues – but the author subsequently addressed them in response to my feedback, and communicated well to me.

Thanks for the feedback. Divi has made some changes to their stuff that we need to catch up on, so I believe that’s why you’re seeing problems with the appearance not responding to the settings. We’re working to get that fixed in our next update.

We haven’t had any other reports of the PayPal account not holding the name. Can you provide screenshots or a video demo of your experience here so I can be sure I understand what you are reporting?

Typically the PayPal Account ID can be either the email address or the Merchant ID. Either should work fine. Again, I haven’t seen another report of the @ of an email being removed, so we’ll have to look into this. It could be something about the sanitization that was added in the latest updates. We’ll look to get that fixed ASAP!

@antonjazz Are you using the PayPal for Divi plugin by itself, or are you also using our PayPal Button Manager in conjunction with it?

@antonjazz, Okay, thanks! Anything in particular keeping us from a 5 at this point? If there’s something we missed or if you have any other additional feedback please let me know. Thanks!

I mentioned a couple things in the updated review I wrote.
I just have the impression that the plugin, useful as it is, hasn’t been tested carefully or its functionality double checked, and I save five stars for that. I’d recommend it to anyone, but also suggest they test it to make sure it’s behaving as they expect.
    thanks,
    Anton
