Great for Sales – Very Well Executed Plugin

I was very impressed with this plugin. I used it for my Black Friday Sales and it was such an improvement over native WC functionality. For one I could set the sale end time to be something other than midnight my time zone. I’m in New York time zone but I have a lot of people shopping late on the West Coast so I set it for 1am PT. I got a lot of sales in those extra four hours.

I did upgrade so that I could get the countdown timer in the email – which could be improved on as there are a few pre-selected styles that don’t really fit my look and I wished for a different message once the time was over other than This Deal is Expired. But I figure that will be in future upgrades. I do think the countdown helps my customers with time zone issues as my customers are all over the world, and now there is no confusion, so I used it anyway.

But what impressed me the most is how easy it was to do everything and everything I wanted was right there. I am super picky on execution and notice everything, so I was very pleasantly surprised at how easy they made it to create your various deals, and I would think what would be nice is…and oh, there it is right there. For example, oh I wish I knew which deals I have active right now, and that’s on the main page, whether it’s scheduled, running, or finished. There are a couple of things that weren’t easy (like saying show the sticky header on everything but this simple product page – which is the product that was on sale) and they acknowledged that will be available soon.

Support was also very responsive and gave me some ideas on things I wanted to do.

One oops I made and didn’t think to test is I set up a deal for $30 off a product, but accidentally set it to be $30 off every product. Fortunately only a few sales came through on non-sale products before I realized it, but now I check other products too to make sure I haven’t set it up wrong.

I’m glad I used this plugin for my holiday sales and will continue to use it for various things unrelated to my holiday sales. Just the ability to specifically time the sales alone makes this worth it (and you get that in the lite version). Because of the level of execution, I would certainly be interested in their other plugins if I should need that functionality.
