Great idea but…
-
When I activated the plugin and added my ‘Login url’, I was happy with the result. However, when I tried to redirect to my_file.php to send the user back to localhost the link was contracted to mysite.net/my_file-php. Changing to my_file without the php extension will work depending on server set up. I fixed this by creating a folder, my_file, containing an index.php. BUT, the problem that doesn’t go away is that wherever there’s a log in link, your new ‘Login url’ will be displayed simply by hovering over the link and by clicking it. For example, the default 400 error page has many WP links including ‘Log in’ in the Meta section.
Maybe there’s no solution for this since a patient hacker might just register on you site and get what s/he’s looking for anyway.
