Great Integration With Lightroom

  • I’ve been very pleased with the NextGen plugin and its associated Lightroom plugin. Seamless integration between the apps. Easy setup. I also like all the choices for galleries; I’ve chosen a few for my site so far. I had a few problems with styling, but their support has been stellar and responded within a single day for every ticket I’ve submitted. I bought the lifetime license and I’m really pleased with the purchase.

    New limitation found, brings the rating down a star: you cannot zoom in on pictures in the pro lightbox. There isn’t a way to do it, according to NextGen support. On the positive side, the NextGen support folks have been transparent about the limitation and that they are updating their software to eliminate this limitation. I hope for it to be resolved soon – not a great experience on smart phones.

    Currently, we don’t have the feature to pinch to zoom. I’ve made a note of the feature request and we’ll keep it on our radar to be reviewed as we plan out our roadmap for the future.
