• This plugin indeed covers a issue in a wp install 2013. The authors decition of the logic flow is right on spot.

This plugin miss a greater reviev becouse the hassle of image urls. Copy and paste usrls in text fields are not a great user experiance and my user wont start doing that.

The plugin needs a choose image from lib or Upload yourself from computer.

    Jonas,
Thanks for the praise and impartial review.

While I agree the URL box is not ideal i did not want to develop a huge thing with lots of JS to allow for drag and dropping a new image.

That was my initial idea, but WP is a hassle to use JS properly and it would propably end up breaking more than what it owuld have fixed.

Maaybe if i get some help that can be implemented in a later revision of the plugin.

HTML5 or drag and drop stuff is NOT ideal. For uploading one avatar, a normal file-type input must do the work so you can use it easy in tablet och mobile devices. The Upload button has a reason to exist, and all those new browsers, popping up in android for example, should be (for avatar reasons and important uploads) avaible to use a tmp-upload file PHP process instead of the new unstable mission with html5.

Back to basic, like workarounds for IE6-pain, the new devices, responsive fixes are taking webmasters back to 90:s

so finally is ter any solutions ? i wanna upload ma avatar.
