Great number of past-due actions after updating database woocommerce

Thanks for reaching out!

I understand that you have encountered a large number of past-due actions (32,000) after updating WooCommerce on your new, clean WordPress installation. This is indeed unusual, especially considering that there are no other plugins installed at the moment except for WooCommerce.

The past due action you’ve mentioned, woocommerce_run_product_attribute_lookup_update_callback is related to the WooCommerce Product Attribute Lookup table. This table is used to improve the performance of product attribute filtering on the front end of your store. Normally, this action should only be triggered when there are updates to product attributes, and it should not generate such a large number of past-due actions on a fresh installation.

For us to investigate your issue further, I’d like to understand your site properly. Please share your System Status Report that you can find via WooCommerce > Status. Select Get system report and then Copy for support. Once you’ve done that, you can paste it into your reply here.

If you could also provide the fatal error logs (if any) under WooCommerce > Status > Logs.

I’d suggest updating your database, you can do it by navigating to WooCommerce > status > tools > update database.

Next, see if the issue persists. If it persists, I’d recommend installing the WP-Crontrol plugin, it might help you to monitor the cron jobs (You can also reach out to your host to speak with them about it).
