• Optin plugins are not all made the same. OptinMonster shines where others fail.

It is designed with a feature I love, to be less annoying to readers with exit intent, so that it doesn’t pop up until the user is about to leave the page. It’s also performant — there is almost no footprint on site speed.

In addition to popups, there are other non-intrusive optin methods like a slide in and footer bar, or even just a static widget that is great for A/B testing purposes and for tracking metrics on who is opting in.

The WordPress plugin is a connector to the Saas, but also has a few WordPress specific features that make it nice, like connecting to particular posts or categories.

I’ve always been skeptical of optin plugins, but this one is so well designed that I use it, and like what it does. Great plugin.
