Great plug-in. I’m setting up a paywalled website for teachers with a lot of large PDFs and Powerpoints that I’m storing on AWS. They obviously need to be private URLs, but I couldn’t figure out where to start with signing a private URL even after reading all of this: https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AmazonCloudFront/latest/DeveloperGuide/private-content-signed-urls.html#private-content-how-signed-urls-work.

But Max’s great plug-in (and quick response to my newbie query) are perfect:

? connect up to AWS using your IAM key and the only two fields in the simple config
? wrap a shortcode round your link text, with the name of your S3 bucket and the path
? plug-in generate a temporary link on each page load, so if the user’s logged-in on a role-protected page, only they will be able to generate signed links.

Simples. Not that I could do it myself, tho, of course.
