Great plugin

  • I just tested it and it’s a piece of good work, no doubt about it.

    Only four things keeping me from giving it 5 stars:
    * “Discount” name in general settings doesn’t work.
    * Each discount rule should have it’s own name(optionally) for discount table.
    * Condition > Value does not “visually” save actual value, it’s hard to tell if plugin actually saved that value or not.
    * Missing validity option “always”.

    Hope you can fix it asap, so i can edit review and give it 5 stars!

    Now
    – Discount name in general setting works
    – Each rule already have a name and it could be shown at the discount table. There is a switch to show / hide.
    – Adding a visual save message.
    – By default, leaving the Valid To field empty means always. Now added a placeholder text so that it clears some air.

    Where exactly? Table still showing discount title from general settings, not individual discount title :\ There’s more to it – if i remove “Discount Title” from general settings, then discounts doesn’t apply at all.

    – By default, leaving the Valid To field empty means always. Now added a placeholder text so that it clears some air.

    Unfortunely id doesn’t work. If i clear “Validity” fields, then discount rule doesn’t apply at all. Tried clearing only “To” field and it’s the same.

    I think it still needs a bit more of work guys. Still i appreciate that you are active with development ??

    – Valid To field has been fixed.
    – Removing the “Discount Title” from general settings issue is also fixed.
    Please update to the 1.4.2 version and test it.

    1. “Always” validity with empy fields works. Still there should be some kind of adnotation next to it saying “leave fields empty for validity without expiration” or something like that.

    2. If i remove discount title from general settings, then it shows simple “discount” text in price table on cart instead of individual discount name.

    1. Sure. Will add an annotation.
    2. Will check. However, there might be cases when multiple discount rules could be applied for a single cart using the Cart discount rules method. In that case, showing the individual name would not be possible.
    That is the reason why we have given a common discount title.
    Hope you understand.
